The only issue I've experienced is that you can't access the remote play app settings from Android TV. Try to connect and when it begins to sign in it'll switch to chrome for the authentication then switch back to the remote play app.
Once you've signed in exit chrome and launch the remote play app. From there sign in to your PSN account using chrome, if you don't have a mouse and keyboard it'll be a pain I recommend this app as a substitute for your TV remote during this process In order to get remote play working you need to side load the hacked remote play app and an internet browser.
